Evening Rain

Each evening comes with

the crimson memories of yours.

Each morning brings the

echoes of your silken voice.

I open my eyes each time

with the hope to find

you in front of me,

with the mischievous smile on your face.

You intrude in my thoughts like an adamant child, refusing to go.

I beg you to let me go

off your magic spell,

but alas.....

you have also forgotten the way back

together we walk for a while......

Rain god is at its merciless best

lashing out the water whips.....

I try catching the drops with my lips....

they drench my body piercing it.

you stand like a wall

protecting me from them......

But they don't spare you either

tiny droplets starts

collecting on your face

making you more magical and desirable......

both of us stand helpless

n our body n soul totally

immersed in the shower

begin to melt bit by bit.........(21/7/07)
