It was another hectic travelling day for me as I was returning back home from a function. I was really tired and getting restless to reach to my destination. The train compartment was full of people buzzing in. As my station was approaching I got up from my seat to find my way out to the door. I was trying to save two bouquets of roses which I was holding, so that they don't get spoiled. As I reached in the passage I saw a lady was standing at the corner with a baby girl. Girl was getting cranky because of the crowd and heat. Fellow passenger were trying to pacify the child.
Me too was getting impatient to get off that crowded train. While playing with that girl I noticed that now her gaze was fixed on the flowers I was carrying. I casually pulled out a lovely red Rose from a bouquet and handed over to that girl. She grabbed it greedily and held it tightly in her tiny fists. She smiled sweetly all the while about her possession. Her joy was evident from her radiant face.She started playing with that flower. Just looking at her blissful face made all of us glad.
Image of her gleeful smile after having that Rose glides in my mind and makes me think that we as an adult forget to be happy with so many tiny blessings around us. We take many things for granted in our life and need efforts just even to SMILE.....There are thousands of things around us to make us blissful.We just need to look around with the eyes and heart of that baby girl....isn't it!!!
